Tathagata Mandal is an accomplished academic and professional with a strong background in history and editing. He holds a B.A. (Hons.) and M.A. in History from Vidya-Bhavana, Visva-Bharati, completed in 2000 and 2005, respectively. Additionally, he earned a Post-Graduate Certificate in Editing and Publishing from Jadavpur University in 2007. Since 2017, he has served as a Part-time Lecturer in History at Kabi Joydeb Mahavidyalaya in Illambazar, West Bengal, while also maintaining an extensive career as a freelance proofreader, copy editor, content writer, translator, and project manager for prominent publishers such as HarperCollins, Oxford University Press, and Cambridge University Press. Fluent in Bengali, English, and Hindi, Tathagata combines his academic expertise with practical skills in editing and publishing, supported by proficiency in software like Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office. His interests include reading, music, writing, translating, photography, and sports like cricket and table tennis.
